Working with our Site Lead, Warehouse and Distribution Teams at our Banbury site you’ll be an important part of our work family. Ensuring our quality products are ready to be delivered to our customers on time and in full, with your eye always on quality.

Essential Ingredients
- Experience of leading, mentoring and developing a team, ensuring they are motivated, trained and with the company goals
- Ability to collaborate with cross functional teams, including distribution and manufacturing, in order to maintain the highest quality and seamless supply chain operations
- Good working knowledge of SAP
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the warehouse team
The Recipe
As the Warehouse Shift Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our Banbury warehouse. You will lead a team of warehouse team members, overseeing their activities, setting performance goals and driving a culture of excellence. Your strategic thinking and operational expertise will help us maintain the highest standards in ensuring the freshest products are delivered on time and in full to our customers.

About Us
In Banbury you’ll find one our newest distribution and consolidation centre, situated on the junction of the M40, giving us the very best access to the UK’s motorway network. With almost 200 drivers and warehouse colleagues working on various shift patterns, it’s the biggest purpose-built distribution site for Warburtons, at 85,000 square feet.
We are currently delivering over 4 million items to our customers and Cross Docking 85,000 stacks of bread, this is equivalent to 559 double deck trailers or 965 single deck trailers, every four weeks. And we’re still growing!
Banbury is now a dedicated Test Centre for License Acquisition, developing our own talented bunch of drivers and supporting them through their required driving licences.
