The Recipe

Are you a Distribution Manager, Driver Operations Manager, a Warehouse Manager or a Team Manager, with experience of working in a fast-paced environment? Ever considered Warburtons?

 

Reporting to the Depot Manager at our Basingstoke site you will be part of a team leading the distribution arm for our Warehouse family. You’ll be a key player in the Management team. Here at Basingstoke, the distribution warehouse team are dedicated to delivering the freshest baked products to our retail customers, in full and on time.

 

We are proud to be heading in the right direction, delivering our products with our own drivers in our own top of the range vehicles.

Key Accountabilities and Measures

This Warehouse Manager role interacts with a variety of different people from our drivers to our customers and the wider management team.  Keeping our warehouse stock moving quickly, you’ll understand that working with fresh products means keeping zero stock, a super-fast turnaround from bakery to customer in a 24/7 production family business.  This is a fast-paced transport manufacturing environment that will keep you on your toes!

Essential Ingredients

We are looking for an experienced professional that really knows what world class distribution looks like. You will have a proven track record of delivering distribution initiatives that will serve in enabling our great family business to continue to take strides forward over the next 5 years and beyond.

  • You will need knowledge and experience of leadership, ideally in FMCG.
  • Have a strong authentic and values driven approach to people management
  • Significant experience in warehousing and distribution systems and processes is essential
