The Recipe

  • Be supported by the driver training teams in an intensive 6 week training course, to gain your Class 2 Licence, with no cost to you.
  • Ongoing fully funded Driver CPC (Your Driver CPC training is in work hours too, not outside of them)
  • You’ll be an early riser—shifts start 04:00 (some patterns may vary). The upside?  Never miss the 3pm school run again.
  • You’ll enjoy plenty of autonomy. You’ll be given delivery notes (or an electronic device), from which you’ll accurately pick the orders, either at the depot or on the move and load your own vehicle with our baked goods
  • To help keep your day smooth and safe, knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance and transport legislation will be included
  • Once your route for the day is loaded into your onboard computer, you’re off!
  • You’ll deliver to multiple customers daily (they’re like family to us), so top-notch service, strong relationships, and professionalism are a must. This includes being able to manage difficult conversations in a calm manner and acting as an ambassador for our brand.
  • You’ll work a defined rotating 4 days on and 2 days off rota, including weekends. That’s 43 hours a week! All of which will hopefully help you to plan your life around work more easily.

At Warburtons, you’re more than a driver.

There’s no aimless wandering looking for things. You load your own vehicle, making things that little bit easier to find. You’ll also make sure each delivery is picked accurately and in full from your delivery notes or electronic device. So, if you like to be hands-on, love a bit of organisation, and want to keep the nation’s eggs in their soldiers, then hop in and join us on the road to bread-based glory.
