What You'll Be Doing?
As a Warehouse Operative, you’ll be at the heart of our operations, ensuring smooth, efficient processes while upholding our reputation for exceptional service. Your key responsibilities will include:
- To assemble and complete all orders on time and in full for primary and secondary distribution routes (where applicable). Identify deficits and take appropriate action to ensure the deficit is evenly distributed across all customers.
- To ensure products despatched, comply with quality and date code requirements and comply with food safety legislation, initiating any required action.
- To maintain Company hygiene and statutory hygiene standards throughout designated areas, working within the principles of basic food hygiene and good housekeeping.
- To complete all paperwork on a timely and regular basis to ensure accurate recording and reporting of information.
- To communicate progress on tasks with team members, highlighting operational issues to Team Manager or Managers (where applicable)
- To stack and store all equipment in the appropriate areas, ensuring operational areas are safe and kept clear of equipment.

Essential Ingredients
- Previous experience as a Warehouse Operative ideally gained in a food environment
- Detailed knowledge and experience of working towards all SOPs which effect a warehouse
- Effective manual handling techniques training undertaken
- Knowledge of SAP to enable allocation of product and closing of orders
- Understanding of requirements of Hygiene & Food Safety Legislation
- Good communication skills- a team player, listens to others, respects differences in personal style and beliefs
- Can prioritise and manage own workload to ensure tasks are delivered as promised
- Decision making skills – makes effective decisions in areas affecting own job
- Numeracy – mental arithmetic skills
- Basic IT skills
