Essential Ingredients
- Supply chain experience preferably in a manufacturing or FMCG business.
- Excellent communication skills: Influential and persuasive.
- Analytical: A good problem solver; meticulous in approach; able to analyse and interpret information effectively.
- Good IT Skills- Particularly in Excel.
- Ability to build and maintain good relationships, establishing credibility with both internal and external contacts.
- Good organisational skills, planning your own time, and prioritising your workload effectively.
The Recipe
As the Materials Coordinator you will manage the supply of inbound raw materials to the bakeries, ensuring optimum inventory levels which support the operational capability and continued growth of the business.
You will be responsible for the stock management of materials/Ingredients and supply chain optimisation.
You will be the key point of contact for internal employees and external suppliers to resolve delivery and inventory issues.
Working alongside the Procurement team you will identify the best solution for external storage and distribution of raw materials whilst supporting the introduction of new raw materials, changes to existing materials and the delisting of redundant raw materials.
You will also provide support and cover for the Packaging Materials Coordinator when applicable.
Continuous improvement is championed, with the opportunity to drive improvements in our current systems and processes.
