Embark on a rewarding journey with our Level 3 Food Industry Technologist Apprenticeship. This two-year programme offers a unique opportunity to develop your skills and advance your career within the food and drink industry. As part of your learning, you’ll attend sessions at the University of Nottingham, which will require occasional overnight stays. Therefore, flexibility to travel and stay away from home is essential.

Upon successful completion of the apprenticeship, you’ll transition into a permanent role as a Compliance Coordinator with Warburtons - marking the start of an exciting new chapter in your professional development.

The Recipe

Join our team as a Compliance Coordinator Apprentice and play a key role in supporting the Compliance Manager to deliver our Unbeatable Quality Strategy. You’ll help ensure our bakery and depots consistently meet both legal requirements and company standards for food safety, hygiene, and quality.

As a Compliance Coordinator Apprentice, you’ll be at the heart of our quality and hygiene standards, helping to ensure everything we do meets both legal requirements and our own high expectations. You’ll work closely with the Compliance Manager to gather and monitor key data that supports our Quality Management System, keeping our processes on track and up to date.

You’ll help maintain our Document Control databases, making sure all compliance records are accurate and current. You’ll also take part in internal audits, checking that control measures are being followed across the site.

Your role will include supporting the delivery of food safety and hygiene standards throughout the bakery, and helping to identify and implement improvements where needed. It’s a hands-on opportunity to learn, contribute, and grow in a fast-paced environment where quality is everything.
