Shift: 5 over 7 rota, 42 hours per week
Location: Enfield
Salary: £40’000.00 to £45’000.00 + £3300.00 (local allowance) p/a
Are you a Driver Transport Shift Manager or Transport Supervisor on top of your game?
Working alongside your fellow Team Managers and reporting into the Transport Manager you will manage and develop a team of drivers, making sure customer requirements are met in full and on time in a safe manner.

Essential Ingredients
- Previous experience as a Team Manager, or Key Operative with experience in managing teams, coaching and mentoring
- Tachograph and WTD regulations
- A good working knowledge of SAP, specifically ERP module
- Good working knowledge of Health, Safety and Environment and Food Safety Legislation / BRC standards
- Experience of Driver telematics systems

- Managing a distribution team, taking responsibility for all people management activities throughout the employee lifecycle of their team in order to drive improved performance building a positive and motivated team where everyone is engaged – we currently have a total of around 35 Class 1 and 92 Class 2 Drivers across 51 routes
- Maintain compliance to transport operator’s and driver regulations (and Warburtons Distribution Manual) ensuring continued legal transport operation
- To manage a team of distribution drivers to ensure agreed performance levels are achieved whilst ensuring high standards of customer service
- Working on a 5 over 7 rota, around 42 hours per week
