Contract: Full Time, Permanent
Shift: 5 over 7 rota, permanent nights, 42 hours per week

Working with our Depot Manager, Warehouse, and Distribution Teams at our Enfield site you’ll be an important part of our work family.  Ensuring our quality products are ready to be delivered to our customers on time and in full, with your eye always on quality.

Essential Ingredients

 

•    Experience of leading, mentoring and developing a team, ensuring they are motivated, trained and with the company goals
•    Ability to collaborate with cross functional teams, including distribution and manufacturing, in order to maintain the highest quality and seamless supply chain operations 
•    Good working knowledge of SAP
•    Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the warehouse.
•    Knowledge of tachograph  and WTD regulations
•    Experience of Driver telematics.
•    Good working Knowledge of Health and Safety
 

The Recipe

 

As the Warehouse/Primary Team Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our Enfield warehouse.  You will lead a team of warehouse and Driver members, overseeing their activities, setting performance goals and driving a culture of excellence.  Your strategic thinking and operational expertise will help us maintain the highest standards in ensuring the freshest products are delivered on time and in full to our customers.

Our Enfield Bakery and Distribution site is one of the largest bakeries in Europe! We have 5 operating plants and around 500 colleagues who work a variety of shift patterns. At Enfield we have 40 different nationalities working together, and we celebrate our One Team family values. Our site runs 363 days of the year and operates 24/7! 
Based in Brimsdown in North London, 15 minutes from M25, 10 minutes’ walk from Brimsdown overground, connected easily to Liverpool Street Station via Tottenham Hale. 
We produce over 4.8 million crumpets per week, which is equivalent to 800,000 packets of 6 as well as producing a variety of other products. The Home of the Giant Crumpet, did you know there are 350 holes in a standard crumpet?
