Shift Pattern: This is a night shift role, with rotating rest days, with a core requirement to work weekends.

The Recipe

 

As part of our Newton Abbot team, you’ll be at the heart of our operation, helping ensure our products are ready to reach customers across the UK. But this isn’t just about picking bread—this is about being a key player in a fast-paced, quality-driven environment.

 

You’ll:

  • Support warehouse operations including picking, loading, and dispatching.
  • Take ownership of shift paperwork, stock records, and basic admin tasks.
  • Help coordinate shift activity and support new starters.
  • Champion health & safety, hygiene, and quality standards.
  • Work closely with team managers to ensure smooth running of the shift.

 

About Newton Abbot

 

Our Newton Abbot Distribution Depot is Warburton’s most southernly site, nestled in the foothills of Dartmoor National Park and less than 10 miles from the nearest beach in South Devon. We operate around 42 delivery routes every day which zigzag their way across the West Country peninsula from Poole, to Weston-Super-Mare, all the way down the coast to Lands’ End.
