Shift:           5 over 7 rota, starting between 0330 and 0600 42 hours per week

Working alongside your fellow Team Managers and reporting into the Driver Ops Manager you will manage and develop a team of drivers, making sure customer requirements are met in full and on time in a safe manner.

Essential Ingredients

 

•    Previous experience as a Team Manager, or Key Operative with experience in managing teams, coaching and mentoring
•    Tachograph and WTD regulations
•    A good working knowledge of SAP, specifically ERP module
•    Good working knowledge of Health, Safety and Environment and Food Safety Legislation / BRC standards
•    Experience of Driver telematics systems

•    Managing a team Primary and Secondary Drivers, taking responsibility for all people management activities throughout the employee lifecycle of their team in order to drive improved performance building a positive and motivated team where everyone is engaged – we currently have a total of around 70 Class 2 Drivers across 40 routes and 40 Class 1 Primary Drivers
•    Maintain compliance to transport operator’s and driver regulations (and Warburtons Distribution Manual) ensuring continued legal transport operation
•    To manage a team of ‘Secondary Distribution Drivers’ to ensure agreed performance levels are achieved whilst ensuring high standards of customer service
•    Working on a 5 over 7 rota, starting between 0330 and 0600, around 42 hours per week
