Working alongside our HSE Manager and HSE Advisor at our Wednesbury bakery you will be an important part of our Health, Safety & Environmental team in the fast-paced world of food manufacturing where Health & Safety is at the forefront of everything we do.

The Recipe

 

As a valued member of our Health & Safety team you’ll be working across our sites & depots, your role will be as diverse as it is varied. Our Health, Safety & Environment teams are responsible for our bakery and distribution sites and ensuring standards are maintained and improved continuously. 

 

You’ll provide an administration service to the HSE and senior management team to ensure all functions meet the site’s legal responsibilities and to coordinate activities that contribute to the site’s performance in all aspects of Health & Safety.

 

Your obsession for attention to detail will go into overdrive in this role, you will be assisting with reporting and preparing and producing accurate documentation to a professional standard within the specified timescales required.

 

You’ll need to be highly organised and ensure you have good time management skills as you will be coordinating diary arrangements for the department and organising meetings such as HSE Committees and HSE Training schedules.  


You will have a coaching style and will enable our teams to implement Health & Safety requirements across the sites, working with our teams to embed a business partnering approach and upskill our teams by driving cultural change. It’s vitally important that you engage with our teams to understand the importance of Health, Safety and Environmental obligations and that you become the industry expert on site.

Essential Ingredients

 

•    Experience of working as an administrator in a similar environment.

•    Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
